Did you know the "Eagle Scout" looks really good on a
high school resume when applying for college?
Boy Scout Troop 1 in Portsmouth is a high quality, active Boy Scout
Troop that provides a first class Boy Scout program to boys ages 11-17
or 5th grade and up in the Portsmouth area, as well as Aquidneck
Island and the Sakonnet River area. Boys ages 11-17 or 5th grade
and up can join anytime!

The older boys (14+) have done backpacking and white water
rafting in New Hampshire. In the past, the Troop has conducted trips and
campouts to Cooperstown, NY to see the Baseball Hall of Fame, Gettysburg,
the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA, Valley Forge,
Fort Ticonderoga and Lake George. The Troop also takes part in
bicycle camping trips to Cape Cod and we do annual summer camp trips
to Camp Yawgoog in Richmond, RI.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Troop 1 will be doing a canoe camping trip on May 13, 14 and 15.
You can go with us if you join by May 3rd.
